OUR GUEST ROOMS

THE TUSCAN ROOM - $119-$179
The Tuscan Room is done in bright yellow and blue. The down comforter is encased with a beautiful cover that Val's mother recently finished. The two gals traveled to Italy and France in the fall of 2002 to purchase the various fabrics for the bedspreads and window coverings. Their luggage definitely grew, along with first hand experience of that wonderful Italian and French cuisine, and of course the wines that accompany them. All these things are important if you want to share a similar experience with your guests. The Tuscan Room has accents of white, such as the queen picket-fence headboard. The sliding door opens to a deckwith the river "just" footsteps away.

THE VINEYARD ROOM - $99-$149
This elegant room, also referred to by some as the "Grape Room " is done in a deep plum, berry burgundy and green. Wine boxes and pictures picked up from wineries as far away as the Barossa and Hunter Valleys in Australia and closer to home wineries in Washington and California give it a distinct look. An antique dresser lends to the "Old World" look. It also offers a queen-size bed. The walls have been done in a cool green dragging look, accented with wood grapes finished with milk paint. The slider doors open onto a large deck, which is a perfect place to enjoy the views of the mountains and fountain in the yard. The shower is done in hand-made tiles with a grape and vine design in the large 5-foot shower with double showerheads. The sink is a conversation piece, a European bowl dropped into Val's great grandmother's treadle sewing machine. The walls have been painted with a frottage finish.

THE PROVENCE ROOM - $119-$199
The Provence Room has been done in white and black, tiled floors and a very unique wall finish with stencil and tissue paper and then "aged" to give the brand-new bedroom an "old timely" look. The king bed has a solid white spread, once again sewn by Val's Mom in fabric from Paris. If anybody knows French, you can read what is imprinted in the white on white. There are splashes of red and mauve to add elegance to this room. It offers gorgeous views of the mountains, fields and entry fountain. The private bath is done in black and white tile, pedestal sink and a claw foot tub with shower.

THE RIVER AND ROSES ROOM - $199-$249
The River and Roses room is our premier suite. One wall has been rag rolled in tenderfoot and stenciled with white vines and ivy. The green carpet gives the bedroom a cool, outdoors look yet the mauve fainting couch and rose bedspread add warmth. The attached bathroom offers a separate tub and green and white tiled shower. Two sinks encased in hand painted tiles of mauve roses make this bathroom lovely. You have the best of both views with the mountains on one side and a slider glass door leading out to a private balcony to the river on the other side.
