If you are here strickly for pleasure, that is great too.  You will find plenty of chairs on the expansive decks to soak up  the beautiful scenery.  Mountains full of trees, the movement of the river just steps from the house, relaxing, peaceful, rejuvinating.

Although this is a newly built home it offers an old European feel along with many varieties of wood accents to warm the home.  Expansive windows everywhere bring in the nature.

The ideal retreat for those who wish to experience the great outdoors of North Idaho.  Bring your fishing pole, kayaks, bikes and hiking gear.

Depending on the season that you chose to visit the St. Joe Riverfront B & B, you may be greeted with terraced flowerbeds just brimming over with the colors of spring and summer, water fountains and more.  During this season you most likely will enjoy the fruits of labor with vine ripe tomatoes, zucchini, onions, potatoes, herbs and more- right from our garden.  Fall is absolutely magnificent with the colors reflecting off the water.  There is nothing more refreshing than walking in the cool crisp of day with the "fall feeling" in the air.  Winter brings a fresh new look as freshly fallen snow dances through the air.  With each season, the river continues to be the center of attention, changing, yet staying the same, mezmerizing and allowing you to get caught up in what we call "river time.  Any season is the perfect season.

What's Included: Accommodations with private bath, evening sweets or snacks, gourmet breakfast, wireless internet,  and more. Depending on whether we can get the wildlife to cooperate, you may have a great opportunity to view moose, deer, bald eagles, ospry, tons of ducks, geese and outstanding colorful birds.  This of course if free of charge!  During special times, (normally groups of 6-8) full dinners can be added for an additional cost.  Ask for details.
