St. Joe B&B has 4 guest rooms, each with individual decor and personality.  The home on the inside has a  European feel along with many varieties of wood accent and a sunroom facing the river. On the outside, water surrounds two sides of this A-frame home with the river and a unique fountain to greet you upon arrival by car.  A large deck on the mountain side for sunning, stunning views of the moon at night, and a large wrap around deck on the river side for relaxing and watching the "Joe" go by. The ideal retreat for those who wish to experience the peacefulness and beauty of North Idaho's great outdoors.

Although the inside is lovely, the outside will speak for itself. There is a stone fountain surrounded by flowers, which welcomes you as you approach the circular driveway. There are terraced flowerbeds, which also offer a 6-level whiskey barrel filled with flowers.  During the summer seaon you may be enjoying the fruits of labor with vine ripe tomatoes, zucchini, onions, potatoes, and more from Cary's garden.  Val is limited to her flowers and herb garden, which are in constant use.    

 

 

 

 

The river side of this home has 135 feet of riverfront. The pictures on this site will speak for themselves regarding the riverside. In addition, a beach area was made along with a fire pit and is named "Pat's Point", after youngest son Pat who's youthful energy created it.  A wonderful place to watch the sunrise or sunset, possibly a campfire, or just relax and reflect on a perfect day on "The Joe!"

 

What's Included: Accommodations, evening sweets or snacks, gourmet breakfast, wireless internet,  and more. During special times, (normally groups of 6-8) full dinners can be added for an additional cost.  Ask for details.
